Jakarta Old Town

Jakarta Old town area is one of the tourist attraction located in Jakarta -Indonesia,and the old town area is one of the protected cultural heritage.
Jakarta's old town area of 1.3 square kilometers in the north of Jakarta and west of Jakarta,Is a legacy of the Dutch colonial period,
and became the center of government at that time, and has a building and with architecture Dutch style.

Jakarta's Old town is under restoration and revitalization
The start of the revitalization plan began in 2005.
The square of Taman Fatahillah was revitalized in 2006.
In 2014 the city governor of Jakarta at the time continued the Old City restoration plan. The project, named "Jakarta Old Town Reborn" (JOTR), is a collaboration between the Government of Jakarta, state-owned enterprises and private companies.
During the Restoration and Revitalization I have come twice to the old town of Jakarta,in the area of Taman Fatahillah.
In 2013 the area is so crowded with visitors and also street vendors,
and still can be seen in some photos that I took at the time,
 (I once shared in G +)
In October 2017, to see the exhibition held at Kerta Niaga Building,in the area of taman fatahillah.
And I can see the difference that has happened in the area of Taman  fatahillah,
It looks attractive and also more spacious and clean, as there are no street vendors along the entrance of the taman fatahillah,
and the old buildings with Dutch-style architecture, some have been renovated into restaurants, / cape and hostels, with attractive colors, reds, greens and white.
within a few years there have been several buildings that have been completed in renovations such as the Museum of History / Museum Fatahillah.
The Jakarta History Museum covers the city's history from the Stone Age to the time of the struggle for independence and the war of revolution,
And Post Office,Wayang Museum, Museum ceramic and several buildings and existing area of Taman Fatahillah.
But there are still many buildings and architectures that are in bad condition, and some buildings are still under construction.
The old town of Jakarta, extensive and so many historical relics of Indonesia, but not all I can visit,
But I've visited the railway station Jakarta Kota,
in 2016, which is in the old town of Jakarta,

I don't know how much longer, the old town of Jakarta area
in the JTOR project,
and will certainly be very interesting later on.
